আই আই টি খড়গপুর ক্যাম্পাসের একটি সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক মঞ্চ “চারুলতা” এর উদ্যোগে কবিগুরু রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের ১৬১ তম জন্মবার্ষিকী তে ২৫ শে বৈশাখ সন্ধ্যা ৬.৪৫ মিনিট থেকে রাত ১০ টা পর্যন্ত টেকনোলজি পূজা মণ্ডপে একটি মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজিত হয়েছে। অনুষ্ঠানের বিশেষ আকর্ষণ ছিল আই আই টি ক্যাম্পাসের অধিবাসীবৃন্দ দ্বারা পরিবেশিত রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত, আবৃত্তি, নাচ। শ্রীমতি সুতপা সাহা গলুই ও শ্রীমতি অপরাজিতা মল্লিক এর রবীন্দ্র আবৃত্তি ও সংগীতের যুগলবন্দী অনুষ্ঠানটিকে একটি অন্য মাত্রায় পৌঁছে দেয়। এছাড়া অধ্যাপক ভানু ভূষণ খাটুয়া, অধ্যাপক পবিত্র শান্ডিল্য, অধ্যাপক অমিত পাত্র ও শ্রীমতি আবীরা ভট্টাচার্য্য পরিবেশিত রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত ও কুমারী অন্বেষা নাথের পরিবেশিত রবীন্দ্র নৃত্য সকলকে আনন্দ প্রদান করে। এছাড়া মঞ্চ কমিটির উদ্যোগে সকালে রবীঠাকুরের প্রতিকৃতি ও রবীন্দ্র সঙ্গীত সহ একটি সুদৃশ্য টেবেলো ক্যাম্পাস পরিক্রমা করে। চারুলতার পক্ষ থেকে সভাপতি শ্রী মৃনাল কান্তি নাথ বলেন এটি তাদের প্রথম নিবেদন এবং আগামী দিনে তারা আরও সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক কর্মকান্ডের মাধ্যমে নিজেদের প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে দৃঢ় প্রতিজ্ঞ। তিনি এই অনুষ্ঠানটিকে সাফল্যমন্ডিত করে তোলার জন্য আই আই টি খড়গপুর পরিবারের সমস্ত সদস্যকে ধন্যবাদ এবং আই আই টি কতৃপক্ষের অনুমতি প্রদানের জন্য কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন।
IIT Kharagpur campus residents had observed Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti on the occasion of 161st Birth Anniversary of Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore on 9th May, 2022 in the Technology Puja Mandap.
“Charulata” a Social & Cultural Forum in the campus of IIT Kharagpur had organized the programme where Prof. Bhanu Bhusan Khatua, Prof Pabitra Sandilya and Prof Amit Patra were among many other artistic talents of the campus who had performed in the programme. The Jugalbandi presentation of Rabindra Sangeet & Poem presented by Smt. Sutapa Golui and Smt. Aparajita Mallick and also the Rabindra nrityo presented by Ms. Annesha had made the programme more colourfull.
Mr. M K Nath President of the Forum had told that this was there 1st presentation on behalf of Charulata and the forum will be presenting more social and cultural activities in future. He had also thanked all members of the IIT Kharagpur family for making this programme a grand success and had also expressed his gratefulness to the IIT Authority for giving permission to organize the programme and display of a colourfull tabello in this occasion.
