The fact of the case in brief is that on 17.02.2022 SI Sanjib Kumar Dey lodged a written complaint against aforesaid arrested accused and others. During Naka-Checking duty on State Highway-11 at Islampur Tollgate under Islampur PS SI Sanjib Kumar Dey along with force recovered one nylon bag containing 115 (one hundred fifteen) plastic bottles of Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Codeine Phosphate Cough Linctus Phensedyl ® manufactured by Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd (each bottle contained 100 ml, having 10 mg codeine phosphate in each bottle, net weight of Codeine = 1150 mg) and One red-black colour Pulsar (bike) having Registration No. WB 58 AJ 4206 in presence of two local witnesses. On asked detained persons (i)Ranjit Mondal and (ii)Sagar Mondal failed to produced any valid document in respect of said NDPS goods. After that SI Sanjib Kumar Dey seized the said NDPS goods under proper seizure list duly signed by the witnesses and arrested (i) Ranjit Mondal (30-year) and (ii)Sagar Mondal (21-year) both s/o Late Avimunno Mondal of village Harudanga, PS-Raninagar, Dist-Murshidabad. On the basis of the complaint above noted case has been recorded and on being endorsed by O/C of this PS I, PSI Tarit Baran Singha took up the investigation.
