The fact of the case in brief is that as per source information on 27.03.22 at night SI Raju Mondal of Raninagar PS Msd along with forces conducted raid in the house of Pratap Mondal (29yrs) S/O- Binay Mondal of Harudanga, PS Raninagar Dist. Murshidabad and apprehended. After that the officer searched his room and recovered i) one iron made musket type fire arms having wooden butt, barrel, trigger, active firing pin, etc. length approx 46 inches (ii) one iron made musket type fire arms having wooden butt, barrel, trigger, active firing pin, etc. length approx 46 inches iii) one iron made musket type fire arms having wooden butt, barrel, trigger, active firing pin, etc. length approx 43 inches iv) one iron made pipe gun having wooden butt, barrel, trigger, active firing pin, etc. length approx 09 inches v) 02 round 12 bore ammunition vi) 02 no’s .303 live ammunitions. On asking Pratap Mandal could not give any satisfactory answer in respect of the said arms and ammunitions. Then the officer seized said arms and ammunition and arrested him.
