On May 28, 2025, the Raninagar Police Station received a distressing report at 14:30 hrs regarding the discovery of a deceased body in a banana garden located at Munshipara, Katlamari 2. The victim, identified as Robiul Shah, a 15-year-old boy and son of Saifulla Shah, was a resident of the same area. Upon receiving the report, law enforcement quickly transported the body to Godanpara BPHC, where medical personnel confirmed his death.Preliminary investigations revealed that Robiul had left his home at 09:00 hrs that morning. Following an inquiry, police arrested a 20-year-old local resident, Arif Sk, who is accused of murdering Robiul with a sharp weapon due to a prior grudge between the two individuals.The investigation is ongoing, with officials stating that a formal case has been initiated at Raninagar PS. The accused will be presented before the learned court later today, with a request for a 10-day police custody to facilitate further questioning.This tragic event has sent shockwaves through the community, raising serious concerns about youth violence and the safety of local residents. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information related to the case to come forward and assist in the investigation.
